Paul Leist

Paul passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his home in Burleson. He was born March 19, 1983 in Bedford, TX.

Paul grew up in Ben Wheeler, Texas. He loved riding motorcycles and fishing, but the one thing he really enjoyed was spending time with his nieces and nephews. He had a green thumb and loved animals. Paul enjoyed working in the oil field. His cousin Stephanie remembers him as having a loving heart and mischievous nature and knows he is now healthy and free.

Paul is survived by his mother, Cheryl Smith of Burleson; father, Bill Leist of Ben Wheeler; 2 sisters: Melissa and her husband Michael Kile of Princeton; sister Nikki Leist of Fort Worth; and brother, Andrew Leist of Euless; grandmother, Shirley Leist of Ben Wheeler; 8 nieces and nephews: Madisyn, Mason, Brooklynn, Kaydenz, Braxton, Lexxa, Briella and Riley Kate; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Paul is preceded in death by his grandparents: Jim and Sallie Horsley, Carol "Zeb" Smith and Bill Leist, Sr. and his cousin, Kenley Leist.

He had an infectious smile and could lite up every room he walked into. Paul will be truly missed but will stay in our hearts forever. Until we meet again.
