

Paula passed away November 5, 2024 at her home. She was born February 16, 1956 in Dallas.
"PJ," as she was affectionately called, was a Christian by faith. She retired from Southwest Airlines after 24 years. PJ loved spending time outdoors, working in her flower beds, camping, riding ATVs, and traveling to various places. Paula enjoyed spending time on the beach while she lived in Panama City Beach. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who called her “Mimi.” She was a very generous and selfless person who always put others ahead of herself.
Paula is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Farmer and her son, David Dewayne Paris. She is survived by her husband, Christopher Leal; daughter, Angela and Kevin Wilson; step-daughter, Nina and Zac Harper; three grandchildren: Jesse and Leon Worley, Weston and Cameron McCluskey, and Mo Harper; four great-grandchildren: Hagen Worley, River Worley, Hudson Worley, and Eleanor McCluskey; step-father, Glen Farmer; brother, Henry and Pat Stewart; step-sister, Michelle Farmer; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Wilson, Weston McCluskey, Leon Worley, Alan Krumm, Tony Shearin, Leslie Melton, Gary Reed, Dillon Reed and Henry Stewart.
Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
