On New Year’s Eve in 1951, she married Robert A. Williams, beginning a partnership that would carry them across the country and around the world. Because they married on New Year’s Eve, they spent the rest of their lives good-naturedly arguing about how many years they had actually been married. Bob preceded her in death in 1996.
Pearl is survived by her daughter Cheryl Roberts and her son Michael Williams, along with six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Her family was the great joy of her life, and she took deep pride in watching it grow across generations.
Throughout her life, Pearl lived in ten different states and several countries, including France, Mexico, and Argentina, accompanying her husband in his work as an evangelist. Though she traveled widely, Texas was always home. A devoted Christian, she was deeply committed to her church and faithfully supported her husband’s ministry for many years. She was also an avid reader who found great comfort and enjoyment in books.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., with visitation at 1:00 p.m., at Eubank Funeral Home.
All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and celebrate a life marked by faith, devotion to God and family, and a spirit of adventure.
