Peggy Gilchrist Ploss

Services for Peggy Gilchrist Ploss, 68, of Addison, Texas will be 2 pm Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Darrell Gilchrist officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Prairie Springs Cemetery in Ben Wheeler.

Mrs. Ploss passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at her home. Peggy was born March 6, 1953 in Grand Saline to Leonard Darrell and Juanita Christine Hopper Gilchrist.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Harry Ploss of Addison; son, Earnest and Meghan Whitaker of Canton; daughter, Kelli Michelle Clay of Melbourne, Australia; four grandchildren: Alanna Clay, Kaylee Whitaker, Kynzie Whitaker and Kayson Whitaker; two brothers: Darrell and Sherry Gilchrist of Canton and Gordon and Pam Gilchrist of Canton; sister, Patsy and Sonny Ashley of Edom; and numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents.

Peggy was passionate about living with Jesus in her heart. She was sent to help all she could through real Estate, gardening, and travelling. She touched so many lives in so many ways and each one of us will continue her work through Jesus. Today and every day, we celebrate her life. Remember she loves us all today and through eternity.
