RV passed away on February 15, 2023 in Sherman, Texas. He was born on July 25, 1951 in Naples, Texas to Earl William Taylor and Nora Carter Taylor.
RV grew up in Canton and attended Canton High School. RV was raised in a home surrounded by love and laughter. RV was a family man and a simple man. He enjoyed a simple pleasures in his life; fishing bowling, watching football on TV. RV’s greatest joy was his children and grandchildren. Spending time with family was time well spent and was the best day. He will live on the memories and hearts of all that knew and loved him.
RV is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Nora Taylor.
He is survived by his children, Joey and Joy Taylor, Robert Taylor, Susan and James Tanner; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Montgomery and JoJo Jones; brother, Earl Taylor; nieces, Julie Eddleman, Christi Hammonds, Jennifer Taylor Tredway, Nicolie Chatham: nephews, Kevin Delbert, Jason Taylor; a host of other family and friends.
