Mr. McKnight passed away January 30, 2024 in Grand Saline. He was born August 13, 1951 in Wills Point to Randall Barton McKnight and Marie Kimberling McKnight.
Ronnie was a Christian by faith and had been a member of several Assembly of God churches over his lifetime. Ronnie lived in Pleasant Grove for many years before moving back to Van Zandt County. After he retired from truck driving, he worked for Country Trails Nursing Home for 20 years. Ronnie loved to fish, watch football, especially the Green Bay Packers, and drinking coffee while sitting on his back porch.
Mr. McKnight is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Karen McKnight; step-father, Lyle Noah; and parents, Randall McKnight and Marie Watts.
Ronnie is survived by his sons and their wives: Josh and Stephanie McKnight and Ron Christopher and Melinda McKnight; three grandchildren: Montana, Sierra and Levi; two sisters and their husbands: Sandi and Mike Lambert and Ginger and Larry Mayronne; and his step-mother, Shirley Noah.
