Randy Nix Cory

Visitation and Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday April 8, 2017 at Eubank Funeral home in Canton, Texas. Randy was laid to rest at Cana Cemetery in Canton.

Randy was born on April 5, 1945, in Littlefield, Texas but grew up and went to school in Canton, Texas where he graduated high school in the class 1964.

Randy joined the Marine Corp in December of 1965. His bravery during the Vietnam War earned him several medals. He was a marksman and ran many search and rescue missions, saving and helping anyone he could. He was an honorable serviceman and served his country with pride for 4 years.

Randy is preceded in death by his father Finas Ray Cory and Mother Opal Deckelman.

Randy is survived by his stepmother, Mary Alice Cory of Lewisville, Texas, sisters Donna Rawdon of Grapevine, Texas, Judy Neefe of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Debbie Johnson and her husband Carl Johnson of Carrolton, Texas, Denise Robinson of Wiley, Texas, many nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
