Robert Britton Smallwood, Jr.

Bobby went home to the Lord on September 8, 2023. He was born in Dallas, Texas on January 14, 1959, to Robert Britton and Elmerene (Norris) Smallwood. Bobby grew up listening to country music, spending his days outside fishing and playing with his beloved cats. In later years, he was lucky enough to meet the beautiful Carol Pasley and they were married in February 1981 and enjoyed 20 years together. Throughout his life Bobby mentored several people through his meetings with NA and honorably earned his 15 year chip. During that time he fell in love and married DeAnne James, then welcomed daughter Britney into the world. Bobby continued to sponsor NA participants everyday and on March 1, 2019, Bobby married his love, Elizabeth, and was blessed to be with her until her passing.

He is survived by daughters: Kara Watson and Shawn, Britney Neal and John; sons: Robert Smallwood, III, Billy Smallwood; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 13 nieces and nephews; sister, Robin Cockerham and Dan; brothers: Billy Smallwood and Amy, Lloyd Smallwood and Kathy.

Bobby is preceded by his wife Elizabeth Graham Smallwood, parents: R.B. and Elmerene Smallwood; brother, George Ray Smallwood; sister, Connie Jo Boyett.

Pallbearers will be Robert Smallwood, III, Keith Hall, Cody Mayer, Lloyd Smallwood, William Ashley, and Billy D. Smallwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Hayes and E. Lloyd Smallwood.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Meredith Campground Cemetery in Henderson County.
