Cokie lived most of his life in Van Zandt County. He was a long haul truck driver for many years before he retired. He enjoyed racing cars and fishing. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a good friend and always willing to help others.
Mr. Watson is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Opal Watson; son, James Troy Watson; and several brothers and sisters.
Cokie is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Kevin Evans; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters: Jonnie Fugitt and Linda Hardin; and numerous friends and other relatives.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
