Rosie Hamilton

A gathering and graveside service for Rosie Hamilton, 86, of Eustace, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m. for visitation and 2:00 p.m. for graveside on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Moorehead Milton Cemetery in Eustace, Texas.

Rosie passed away peacefully on February 11, 2024 in Mabank, Texas. She was born on November 2, 1937 in Eustace, Texas to Gordon Russell Easley and Essie Stegall Easley.

Rosie grew up in the Eustace area surrounded by a big family and loving family. Rosie was happiest outdoors working in her yard. Rosie enjoyed watching sports; she was always in the cheering section for her grandchildren. Rosie loved family gathering. She loved being around family and mowing the lawn usually with a grandkid or two helping. Rosie was the most kindhearted person; she would give the shirt off her back to help a stranger. Her perfect day was a day with family. Rosie will live on in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Gordon and Essie Easley; sons, Kenny Lee Landwermeyer and Keith Edward Landwermeyer; Sisters: Florence Warren, Mary Ann Head, Edwinne Coots, Patsy Laye; brother, Charles Easley.

Rosie is survived by her sons, Kyle Landwermeyer and Kelly Landwermeyer; grandchildren: Katrina Followwell and husband, Ray; Kenny Landwermeyer Jr. and wife, Jennifer; Dustin Anderson and wife, Darbi; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Loette Self, and husband, Lloyd; sister, Bobbette Hull; daughter in law, Darla Bennett.
