

Sallie went home to the Lord on June 15, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on December 30, 1046 in Dallas, Texas to Graham Za Maness and Sallie Belle Bledsoe Maness.
She grew up in Roxton, Texas and after high school attended Paris Jr. College where she received her LVN degree, second in her class. In 2009 she married her love, Tommy Tucker, they had been devoted to each other since 1988. Sallie dedicated her life to helping others. She was an amazing woman who loved caring for people but always had time for her family. Sallie loved all creatures big and small, even saving a rabbit’s life with mouth to mouth. She was always caring for stray animals and helping out homeless people. Sallie taught her children a strong work ethic and that family was most important. She loved being outdoors. Sallie had a wonderful sense of humor. She taught her children by example, “loving others is always of utmost importance”. Sallie will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched and all that knew her. “To the world, you were just a wife and mother, but to your family you were the world”

Sallie is survived by her beloved husband, Tommy Tucker; children, Stacy and Chris Ross, Kim and Shane Karns, Kevin Johnson, Amanda Tucker, Chris and Cassandra Spicer, Randy and Diane Johnson, Abbie Miller; 21 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Graham and Sallie Maness; daughter, Pam Spicer; granddaughter, Brandi Ross.
A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to service at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton, Texas.
