A funeral service for Spencer Daniel, 88, of Canton, will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Pastor Mike Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.
Mr. Daniel passed away July 31, 2026 in Tyler. He was born March 23, 1938 in Martins Mill to William Eli and Ella Rhea Barnett Daniel.
Spencer married Eddie Vick on August 15, 1957. He was a master brick mason and custom home builder for many years. Spencer was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working on projects around his home. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Canton.
Mr. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ella Daniel; four brothers, Louie, Archie, Paul, and W.E. Daniel Jr.; and three sisters, Mary Brock, Bertha Marvin, and Wanda Meredith.
Spencer is survived by his loving wife, Eddie Daniel; son, Alan Daniel and his wife, LeAnn; daughter, Lisa Wilson and her husband, Kelly; three grandchildren, Emalee Daniel, Josh Wilson and his wife, Kayleigh, and Meagan Jackson and her husband, Dez; five great-grandchildren, Lilly Godley, Tabor Wilson, Marleigh Wilson, Carter Jackson, and Ainsley Free; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Josh Wilson, Dez Jackson, Brett Daniel, Bill Daniel, Mark Meredith, Danny Brock, Jeff Brock, John Brock and Stephen Sparkman. Honorary pallbearers are Tabor Wilson and Carter Jackson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
