Thomas Lee Goode and my son Louie Goode ,his nephew spent a lot of time together when they were very young and one day Louie asked Thomas Lee to be his brother so Thomas replied no, so again Louie asked then why cant we be brothers and Thomas Lee said cause we're cousins that's why , but you can be my brother and all brothers that were present agreed. This was a big deal and was funny and sad al at once. They spent many days together so happy and now they are both with the Lord forever. Thank you Thomas Lee for being a sweet brother. I can't be with you all today because I cannot drive due to eyesight, but I remember many a trip up and down Mcwilliams lane playing, eating crackers with miracle whip, watching whatever critter was in the heated box that had been captured.or found by the Goode brothers that they tried to save or deliver to Grandpa Mcwilliams for squirrel stew. I also. remember Thomas taming care of Grandma's town lots and the trailer park renters. So many memories of growing up.that it would take more than a lifetime to. remember them all. May you re st in peace cousin and may your family be proud to be the family of a good ole. East Texas man. From your cousin Sharon Jackson-Derosier

I’ve had the honor to know Thomas for over 10 years. I’ve watched him love his family with all his heart. He was always at the grandkids activities and they loved spending time with him. He was a man that forgave, mentored and he was gentle. He will be missed very much.

I pray for comfort for the family. May God see you through this difficult time. Thomas was a good person and I'm very proud to call him my nephew. We had some good times together, and lots of laughs. I am very sad to hear of his passing.
God bless, Dennis Goode

Years ago, Thomas and I were in management together. We worked closely together for over a decade and often leaned on each other for support to get through challenging times. I loved to hear him tell stories. He was a practical joker and his laugh was contagious. He was a problem solver and no one could fix things like Thomas. We were often amazed by his ‘East Texas’ (fondly labeled) solutions to making things work. He was like a brother, and I wish I had spent more time with him in recent years. I’m glad he finally found the love of his life and enjoyed the happiness he deserved with his wife Holly. I offer his family my sincerest and heartfelt condolences. Thomas Goode will be missed tremendously and will always be remembered with a smile. Rest in peace, Thomas. I love you man.
