Tommy’s life was marked by a quiet steadiness and an appreciation for the simple, enduring comforts of home. He found contentment in familiar rhythms—listening to old country music, watching westerns on television, and spending unhurried time on his porch, where he could take in nature and the peace it offered.
On May 14, 2004, Tommy married his beloved Janet. Their story began with a first date on Valentine’s Day, and from that moment their affection for one another grew. Janet preceded him in death in 2024.
In his later years, Tommy shared a close and wonderful relationship with his son, Cameron—one rooted in care, connection, and the value of time spent together.
Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Jarrell, and his parents, Roger and Ruth Jarrell. He is survived by a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, Texas, on August 22, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am. Bro. Steve Glosup officiating.
Tommy will be laid to rest next to Janet at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.
