We will celebrate Trey's life starting with a visitation at 2:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Radiant Church in Canton, Texas. The service will be officiated by Pastor Adam Henderson and under the directing of Eubank Funeral Home.
Trey grew up in Canton and graduated from Canton High School in 1996. He was an incredibly accomplished golfer and spent much of his life around the golf course. From an early age, he proudly worked alongside his father and family running Tawakoni Golf Course. His most recent role was the Assistant General Manager of Van Zandt Country Club but spent almost 20 years of his life enjoying reffing basketball. His love of golf and helping others embrace the game was profoundly evident. "The greatest game there is", he would say. Trey had an amazing personality, loved to tell a good joke and was always making everyone around him smile and laugh. Serving others and making people happy was at the heart of who he was and how he lived.
Trey was a devoted husband and father. Time with family and friends was his most cherished priority. He especially loved having meaningful talks with his son, Travis, talking about everything from life to fantasy football. In marrying his wife, Shanna, he created a family with his son, Travis, and his girls, Kaylie and Kyndall, bonded by strong love and wholehearted devotion. Family vacations brought him so much joy and allowed him to connect with his people he loved more than anything. Those times will forever be cherished by his wife, son, daughters and family.
There is a memorial account set up at City National Bank in Shanna Lively’s name. The family is requesting that in lieu of sending flowers you use this as a resource. This account will be used to support Trey’s family during this grieving, transitioning time in life and for memorial scholarships to be made in Trey's name
