Wanda Dickerson

Services for Wanda Dickerson, 89, of Brownsboro, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Faith Baptist Church of Brownsboro with Bro. Jimmy Stephens and Bro. Joe Stephens officiating.

She passed away August 6, 2015, in Tyler, TX.

Wanda was born on November 20, 1925, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Samuel and Mary Lou Linder Prather.

Interment will be at Edom Cemetery.

Wanda grew up in Grand Saline where she graduated high school. She moved to Dallas after high school and married Clifford in 1944. She eventually moved back to East Texas in 1970. She was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church of Brownsboro and a member of the Eastern Star. Wanda was a wonderful seamstress, gardener, mother and cook. She loved flowers, painting, and refinishing furniture. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling and selling antiques. She was a loving and compassionate mother, grandmother and wife.

Wanda is survived by Daughter, Phyllis and Bobby Smith of Brownsboro; Daughter, Janet and Gary Costlow of Palestine; Grandson, Cliff and Chelsi Smith; Grandson, Ryan and Crystal Smith; Grandson, Phillip and Breanne Smith; Granddaughter, Andrea and Steven Hanson; Granddaughter, Amber and Chad Worner; 10 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Jimmy and Pat Stephens; and Sister, Patsy Savage.

She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Clifford Dickerson; Granddaughter, Lisa Smith; Brother, Tommy Stephens; and Brother, Bobby Stephens.

Family will receive friends Saturday August 8, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Eubank Funeral Home.
