

Wanda Sue Sullivan, 81, of Lindale, Texas passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on May 13th, 1944, in Murchison, Texas to Luther E. Saxon and Nannie Saletor Shackelford Saxon.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Eubank Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, officiated by Brother Bart Williams.
Wanda was born and raised in the Murchison and Brownsboro area and attended Brownsboro High School. In June of 1984, she married her true love, Donald Sullivan, building a foundation of love and devotion. Wanda was a loving mother and grandmother to her family.
Wanda was a long-time resident of Lindale and a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church. She loved Jesus, her family, and creating family gatherings for everyone to enjoy. As a business woman, she served and helped people with their tax and accounting needs for over 50 years. Wanda was never idle and also spent over 20 years as a successful vendor at 1st Monday Trade Days. With her family helping her, she had many loyal customers return to her jewelry and clothing shop.
Wanda enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful plants and flowers. She was also a camcorder and photo aficionado, documenting every family gathering and small interaction on her camcorder. Wanda’s favorite time of year was Christmas, fostering a truly magical holiday season for her children and grandchildren. She could never have too many Christmas decorations. In family tradition, The Christmas Story, depicting the birth of Jesus, was always read on Christmas Eve.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Nannie Saxon; brothers: Quinton Saxon, Bill Saxon and Roger Saxon.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Sullivan; children: Shirley Steele, Robin Brooks and husband, Robert, Shane Kiefer and wife, Tabathy; Rae Ann Avery and husband, Riley; grandchildren: Grace Steele, Ryan Kiefer and wife, Briana, Hunter Kiefer and wife, LaTasha, Tori Searcy and husband, Caleb, Aaron Avery, Kristen Murphey and husband, Larry; a multitude of great grandchildren; siblings: Elmer Saxon and Linda Saxon; many nieces, nephews and other family; and a host of friends.
Wanda will be laid to rest at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, Texas.
