Willie Lois Armstrong

Services for Willie Lois Armstrong, 87, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 2 pm Friday, December 26, 2014, at the Round Flat Pentecostal Church in Fruitvale, officiated by Bro. Homer Morgan and Bro. Donnie Herrin under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.

Burial will be in Small Cemetery.

Mrs. Armstrong passed away Monday, December 22, 2014, in Grand Saline.

Willie was born on October 26, 1927 to James and Vesta Abbott McCormack.

She was a member of the Round Flat Pentecostal Church. Willie was a great cook. She enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, the outdoors, cross stitching, needle point, and working with her hands. She enjoyed having her big family at home for any occasion.

Mrs. Armstrong is preceded in death by her husbands: John P. Wise and Cecil M. Armstrong; son, Charley Wise, great-granddaughter, Shiloh Wise, one sister and 3 brothers.

She is survived by 6 children and their spouses: John W. and Jo Marie Wise of Grand Saline, Willie L. and Ginger Wise of Wills Point, Jimmy Wise of Edgewood, Linda and William Fowler of Grand Saline, Henry L. and Wanda Wise of Wills Point and Mark and Renee Armstrong of Edgewood; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Paul Wheeler, Gene Wheeler, James Wheeler, Willie Wise Jr., Donald Wise, B.J. Wise, Kyle Armstrong, Shane Wise, Brandon Pickens and Matt Pickens.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
