Wynelle Mae Martin

Wynelle passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on May 16, 1942, in Ohatchee, Alabama to Arthur Longino and Annie Mae Shirey Longino.

Wynelle was Baptist by faith and a faithful servant of the Lord. She grew up in the Lindale area and graduated from Lindale High School. Wynelle was a kind and loving mother to her family. She beamed with pride as she planned and cooked for gatherings; knowing all her family would be there and a wonderful time, full of love and laughter would be had by all. Wynelle will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved her.

Wynelle is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Annie Mae Longino; son, Greg Martin; sister, Joyce Gearner; brothers, Lawrence Longino and Sonny Longino.

She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Crook and husband, Dean; son, Robert Martin and wife, Lisa; grandchildren: Cainan Drew and wife, Haley, Nekoda Martin and wife, Kenzie; Lauren Crook; great grandchildren: Kingston Drew, Benjamin Martin and Kimber Martin; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Wynelle will be laid to rest at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, Texas.
