Aaron Joseph Miller

Aaron grew up in San Jose, CA. In 1990, he began to serve his country in the Coast Guard, which brought him to NY where he met his loving wife, Jennifer. Aaron also served his community for many years working for the NYC Sanitation Department. In 2017, Aaron retired from NYC Sanitation and he and Jennifer, beloved daughter Sydney and granddaughter Amelia relocated to Cape Coral, FL. Over the years, Aaron's hobbies and joys came from dates with his wife, bowling, darts, the Oakland Raiders, NY Mets, mixology, connecting with friends (who became his family), video games, spending time with his family and spoiling his granddaughter. Aaron was always the type of man that anyone could call on for anything, at any time or place, and would give the last shirt off his back for his friends and family. Aaron's "girls" were always his pride and joy, and he would never rest until they were taken care of physically, spiritually and emotionally. He was the type of man that left a footprint on the hearts and minds of every person he interacted with. The loss of Aaron Miller is truly tremendous to those who knew and loved him.

Aaron is survived by so many loving family members (including, but not limited to): Jennifer Miller (wife of 32 years), Sydney Miller (daughter), Amelia Miller (granddaughter), Michael Miller and Sue Cahlander (parents), Christine Miller and Janet Smith (bonus mothers), Adam Miller, Sean Miller, and Rachel Ritachson (siblings), Jennifer B. Miller, Holly Miller, Cuddy Ritchason, Elizabeth and Robert Condeleo (siblings by marriage and heart), Lauren Condeleo and Kegan Condeleo (Godchildren and children by heart), and countless beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews (both by blood and adopted into his heart), and many, many friends who will miss him dearly.

On Sunday, September 24th, a Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am at Dennis S. O'Conner Funeral Home; 91-05 Beach Channel Dr., Rockaway, NY 11693. A Celebration of Life will follow at Roger's Bar; 205 Beach 116th St., Rockaway, NY 11694.
