Albert Benjamin Haab

Al was born November 30, 1942, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to parents Paul and Bennie Haab.

He attended Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, graduating in 1962. Al was also a veteran of the Army, having entered the service in 1963. From there he attended Wayne State University in Detroit where he received his degree in Mortuary Science in 1971. The next 50 years he spent his time doing what he loved, serving the community and friends.

His club affiliations include Eagles, Elks, Moose, VFW, American Legion and Kiwanis.

Al like to travel, draw and cook.

Al was the most upbeat, always happy, friendly, artistic, fun loving, life of the party type of guy. He never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

Al was preceded in death by his father, Paul; mother, Bennie; sister, Pauline Cobb; son, Spencer Haab.

Al is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathy; son, Brandon; sister, Margaret (Don) Knieper; brother-In-laws, Mike (Linda) Cobb and Mike Franz; mother-in-law, Nedra Franz; nieces, Tina (Dennis) Ditri, Laura Berg; nephews, Troy (Mary) Pettit; Randell (Rocio) Pettit, Doug Knieper. Several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation: April 5, 2024 from 9:30a - 11a, service at 11a with burial to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
