Alberta “Sue” Yeager, 86, of Cape Coral, passed away peacefully with loving family by her side on February 19, 2026. Born April 30, 1939, in State College, PA she was the daughter of Helen and Albert Foster.
Sue was married to her beloved husband, Grady Yeager Jr., for 43 years. She is survived by her husband; her children, Karen Wilden and Sharon Slagle; her stepson, Grady Yeager III; her brother, Richard Foster; her brother Ray Foster (Susan); and her sister Carol Keller (Dave). She also leaves behind nine grandchildren—Aleah, Liz, Lillian, Summer, Jill, Alex, Bri, Danielle, and Dylan—along with 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and 14 nieces and nephews; all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Catherine Kocher (husband Robert, deceased) and Ruth Musser (husband Ted, deceased); and her twin brother, Albert Foster (wife Susie Foster, surviving).
Sue had a creative and spirited soul. She found happiness in woodworking and crafting beautiful sand art, enjoyed bowling, and loved trying her luck at the casino. She will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, her sense of humor, and the love she had for her family.
Her presence will be profoundly missed, but the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, Florida 33908, (239) 482-4673.
