Alessandro Tumminello

Alessandro Tumminello passed in peace at the age of 32, on September 22, 2022, in Gainesville, Ga. He is set to be laid to rest next to his late and loving Grandfather, Paolo Tumminello. Once a dual citizen of Italy he loved to travel, and was known as a free and loving spirit.

Alessandro was a Heavy Equipment Operator at Vertical Earth, in Cumming, Ga. He truly enjoyed furthering his education on Heavy Equipment and held many Certifications in his field. Working on building bridges and roads all over the local Atlanta area, he took pride on everything he worked on. A lover of the outdoors he truly had his dream job.

Alessandro loved spending his weekends racing his RC car, working on his beloved truck, and playing his XBox till the sun went down. A true homebody he was a lover of action and comedy movies. Forever a Raiders fan he never missed a Sunday game. A wonderful chef who took after his loving dad and late grandfather. He enjoyed grilling and cooking at home with his girlfriend.

Alessandro will be fondly remembered by family and friends as outgoing, spunky, and a true jokester at heart. An avid animal lover, he never met an animal he didn’t love.

Alessandro is survived by his girlfriend Terra Dunn and her two boys Tj and Jonathan; his grandmother Girolama Tumminello; his father Vincent Tumminello; his uncle Matt Tumminello; Aunt Tracy and cousin Hunter Tumminello; his aunt Marilyn Tumminello and cousins Mason Tumminello, Dani Sbarra, Mila Rose Sbarra and Nate Sbarra.

A visitation for Alesandro will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park.
