Ashraf Hanna Yousef, MD, 59, of Cape Coral passed away Friday, June 20, 2014. He was born in January 1, 1955 in Alexandria, Egypt to the late Alice Boutrous and Hanna Yousef. Ashraf received his schooling in Egypt to be a MD and practiced there for 3 years before coming to the US where he practiced medicine for the next 20 years. He was an asset to the medical world and will be missed. His whole life was devoted to his wife and his passion for his medical practice with his patients.
Ashraf and Lidia enjoyed spending time fishing, traveling, along with walks in the park with their dogs.
He leaves behind a loving wife Lidia Okoniski, MD to whom they had a 28 year loving marriage; brother Sammeh Yousef; sister Heidi Yousef, a niece, nephew and many loved ones. He will be missed by all.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home in Cape Coral between the hours of 5 – 7pm. A funeral mass will be held at 10am on Friday, June 27th at St. Mark Coptic Church, 19800 Ellaire Lane, Ft. Myers, FL 33908 with burial to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
