

Beverly Ann Rufino, 83, of St James City, Florida, formerly of Providence Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8 with family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Rossi, sister of Claudia Rossi and the late Anthony, Joseph, and Johnny Rossi.
Beverly had many passions in life including swimming, boating, gardening, family time, and fitness. One of her favorite accomplishments was swimming Narragansett Bay for the “Save the Bay” project. Family was very important to Beverly as she is known by her loved ones as the “Glue that keeps the family together”. Beverly worked tirelessly to obtain her real estate broker license and became a local business owner of Canal Real Estate in St James City Florida. She was also a member of the local American Legion Women’s Auxiliary on Pine Island.
Beverly leaves behind her sister Claudia Rossi, sons Richard and Joseph Delfino, daughter Lisa Delfino Hemphill, son in law David Hemphill, daughter in law Renee Delfino, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Fishers of Men Lutheran Church on 10360 Stringfellow road, St James City, Florida on February 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held in Rhode Island. The date and location will be updated soon.
