Bradford Eugene Hardwick, 53, of Cape Coral, died at his home on Monday, May 7. Born in Sikeston, Missouri, he moved to Cape Coral in 1964. He was a 1977 graduate of Cypress Lake High School, graduated from Edison College and attended the University of South Florida.
Brad excelled in all of his life’s endeavors. In addition to a successful 17-year career with Time Warner and Comcast, Brad was a licensed sea captain, an accomplished angler and a lifelong Dolphins fan. Brad will be fondly remembered for his love, kindness and generosity to family and friends, as well as his welcoming smile and fervent love of everything Cape Coral.
Brad is survived by his mother, Jo Hardwick, and stepfather, Don Cochran, of Cape Coral; three sisters, Debbie (Bob) Morris, of Winter Park; Robin (Rob) Greig and Mary Beth (Chris) Keslinger, both of Cape Coral; one brother, Clay (Esperanza) Hardwick, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; two nieces, Crystal McClaran and Crystal Keslinger; and three nephews, Bo Morris, Dash Morris and David Keslinger. We will forever love and miss you, Brad. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hardwick.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12th at 1 p.m. at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral. Visitation will begin at 12:30pm. Family and friends are invited. Immediately following, a Celebration Of Life will be held at Tarpon Landings, 6051 Silver King Blvd., Cape Coral.
