Brendan Michael Carstensen

Brendan Michael Carstensen, age 11, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 16, 2023.

Born in Cape Coral, FL, Brendan was predeceased by his grandfather, “Grampy” Denny Rice, and Auntie Angie Tillery.

Left behind to cherish Brendan’s memory are his loving mother, Kristin Carstensen, devoted father, Eric Carstensen and doting grandparents, “Omie” Marina Rice and “Grammy” Marianne Carstensen. He was also adored and cherished by his “Papa” Michael Carstensen and will be dearly missed by his Aunt Angie, cousin Kaden, Uncle Shaun, Auntie Em, cousins Grace and Anna, and Godmother Jody.

Throughout his life, Brendan brought so much happiness to those around him. He was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him and his passion for Pokemon cards was just one example of how he approached life with a sense of fun, wonder and curiosity.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to him, but we know that his spirit will live on in the memories of all who loved him.

A gathering of family and friends, to celebrate Brendan’s life, will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 4pm -7pm, with a memorial service to begin at 4:30pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, located at 950 Chiquita Blvd. S., Cape Coral, FL. Light food, sandwiches and refreshments will be provided.
