Caesar Czajkowski, 67 of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Bucktown (Chicago), passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 23, 1947 to Mitchell and Helen Staszewska Czajkowski. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman Badge. Caesar was a Police Officer with the City of Chicago, and retired after 25 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Deborah Wisniewski Czajkowski ; brother, George (Margie) Czajkowski of Cape Coral; sister, Theresa; and many nieces.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 pm on Friday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, August 2nd at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church.
