Catherine Rita Coppola

Catherine Rita Coppola , 85, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Hospice House in Cape Coral. She was born on June 26, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Harold Irwin Jeffrey and Catherine Rita Beaudet.

Catherine was one of the first woman foreman’s supervisor. She worked hard as a single mother most her life raising her two children. She was known for decorating for every holiday, McDonalds Play dates with her granddaughters, her favorite color was purple and so was everything in her house! She was a big Elvis Presley fan, so much she even named one of her dogs after him.

She is survived by her son Gregory Spencer, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Dave Wenger, Henry Wenger, Bill Jeffrey, & Wayne Wenger, her parents, Harold Irwin Jeffrey and Catherine Rita Beaudet, and her daughter Rita Negron.

A gathering will be held Friday, March 21st at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33909, between the hours of 1 - 2pm followed by Catherine's Celebration of Life ceremony.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hospice and those special caregivers at the nursing home that provided care and support.
