Chester David Boles

He was born in Marion, Indiana to the late Chester and Mary Jo Shelley Boles on May 29, 1940.

He married Sherrill J. Talbott Boles his sweetheart of 64 years, on June 25, 1961. She survives. Other survivors include Son; Michael Boles - Cape Coral, FL., Daughter; Michelle (Pete) Dupre - Cape Coral, FL., Sister Phyllis (Joseph) Russell - Marion, IN., Brother; Chaney (Mary) Boles - Garrett, IN., Brother; Richard (Brenda) Boles - Columbia City, IN., 5 Grandchildren; Tiffany (Larry) McKinney, Tyler (Cindy Johnson) Hall; Peter (Lexi Spencer) Dupre; Cassie Dupre; Grace Boles-Ulrich; 2 Great Grandchildren; Clayton (Coleena) McKinney; Kylee (Garrett) Johnson; 1 Great Great Grandson; Garrett Johnson II; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Daughter; Janene S Boles; Brother; Charles Michael Boles and Niece; Pamela Pattison.

Dave was a member of The Villas Wesleyan Church in Ft. Myers, FL. He had served as Sunday School Superintendent and Sunday School Teacher and also had served as a board member. Dave served in the Air Force and Managed McDonalds, and Sandys Restaurants. He also delivered bread for Dietzens and Pepperidge Farm before moving to Florida and becoming a Business Owner, selling and servicing The Rainbow from 1981 until his death.

Dave always put God and the church first in his life. The next most important things that Dave cherished were his family and being with them. He always had a good story to tell them.

A Celebration of Life for Dave will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at Villas Wesleyan Church, 8400 Beacon Blvd., Ft. Myers Florida 33907.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Dave can be made to Villas Church directed to the church's "Making a Way Fund" to rebuild the Sanctuary.
