It's almost 7 years now since you left us so suddenly yet it seems like yesterday.  You are always in my always in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so deeply saddened to learn that you have passed.  It has been a great while since you and I served together in Key West.  I was hoping to look you up and tell you how much I appreciated your kindness, warmth, and genuine goodness of heart through those years.  Despite any difficulties that may have arose, you remained a good and solid person through and through.  Your sort of interpersonal grace and strength of character is a rare beauty and a true gift to all who knew you.  You taught me important lessons about humanity that I did not fully comprehend until recently, and I thank you.

As we say in Jamaica, 'what gone bad ah  mawning caan come good ah evening' but time always unravel the mysteries of life.

Im pretty sure Chris was here on earth to save me.  I vividly remember us wanting to fly... The curtain rod seemed an appropriate way to accomplish that. You said, let me go first... That didn't go so well.  Whenever we had an idea of mischief, you said, let me go first. Climbing the fence in Nandy Park... That didn't go so well. You were the first up and the first one down, I somehow got stuck. You pulled me free.  You loved the clouds and breaking your arm 2x in the same place  never stopped you from any height.  I dreamt you a few days ago telling me that you were ok but you had these new wings. If you know Chris, you can just imagine his expression when he's excited about something. In my dream, I asked him what he thought of his new wings... He responded, now I can visit you guys all the time.  From our childhood wish to fly, Now..... you've gotten your wings first.
