Christopher David Misner

Christopher David Misner, 27, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 of injuries received in a tragic accident. Chris was born June 20, 1989 in Cape Coral and was a loving son to parents Tracy and Rich Misner and a loving brother to Mark Misner. He graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. He was also a graduate of the Fort Myers Fire Academy and was a Firefighter with Taylor County Fire & Rescue. Chris attended St. Andrews Catholic School as well as Bishop Verot High School. He attended St. Andrews Church. Chris will always be remembered by his family and friends as a loving, caring man who loved to help people. His spirit and smile will live on for eternity.

Chris is survived by his parents Tracy and Rich Misner of Cape Coral; brother Mark Misner of Cape Coral; grandmother Nancy (George Fero) Sheran of Port Charlotte; aunt and uncles Jackie St Croix, Melony (Rick) Allen, Kim (Johnny) Bryant, Ellen (Rick) Kipper, Mike (Chris) Sheran and David (Kathy Brect) Misner; cousins Evan St Croix, Aaron Allen, Brendan Allen, Shane Bryant, Casey and Corinne Cole, Alex Kipper, Chis Misner, Pete Misner, Richard Misner, Jodi Busch and Joel Sheran.

There was a viewing Tuesday, February 7th at Coral Ridge Cemetery in Cape Coral. On February 8th, there will be a mass at 2pm at St. Andrews Catholic Church followed by a procession to Coral Ridge Cemetery for a graveside service with the Fire Fighter’s Last Call. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Cape Coral Technical College in memory of Chris Misner for Firefighter scholarships at the Public Service Academy.
