Christopher Allen Williams

Christopher Allen Williams, 40, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011. He was born on March 22, 1971, in Rockford, Illinois. Christopher was a 1989 graduate of Auburn High School, and also attended Mississippi State University. Chris worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at Palmetto Pines Country Club and most recently as the Outside Operations Manager at Gateway Golf and Country Club. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his nieces and godson, who all called him "Kunkle." Chris was a thoughtful person who loved and cared about his family and friends. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church.

Christopher is survived by his loving family including his parents Frank and Ronelle (Allen) Williams of Cape Coral; sister, Pam (Troy) French of Cape Coral; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Arvilla Allen of Rockford, IL, nieces,Taylor, Emily, and Addison French of Cape Coral; aunts and uncles, Vicki Allen of Kingman, AZ, Kathy (Adrian) Like of Rockford, IL, and Kurt (Charolette) Allen of Rockford, IL; several special cousins; and his Godson Thomas E. Brown, son of Thomas F. Brown and Gigi Donahue. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Hazel Williams, Great Grandmother, Ann Bomgarden and great grandmother Opal Friesenborg.
