In loving memory of Constance Hettinger Felice Vassallo Faulmann, born in October 1936 and peacefully passed away in her sleep on April 27, 2024. Constance's journey began in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, where she grew up as an only child, surrounded by the city's bustling energy.

Married to Reverend Kenneth Felice, Constance was blessed with three wonderful boys: David, Brian "Anthony", and Jon. Jon, born with a developmental disability, became a beacon of inspiration in Constance's life, leading her on a path of profound dedication and selflessness. Her unwavering love for Jon motivated her to pursue higher education at Northwestern University, earning her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Special Education.
When Jon lost his hearing, Constance embarked on a remarkable journey of learning, teaching herself sign language to bridge the gap and communicate with her son. Her commitment to Jon's well-being reflected her innate kindness and resilience.
Constance's professional journey led her to Capri Negrin in the projects of Chicago, where she dedicated herself to shaping the lives of countless children with special needs. Her impact extended fare beyond the classroom, touching the hearts of those she encountered with her warmth and understanding.
Following her divorce from Reverend Felice, Constance again found love with William Vassallo, with whom she shared cherished moments until his passing. Together, they embarked on a new chapter in Fort Myers, Florida, upon the birth of her grandson, Francesco. Constance discovered a renewed sense of purpose and came out of retirement to teach special education in Ft. Myers. In addition to her many achievements, Constance and her beloved husband, William, enjoyed exploring nearly 50 states on road trips, forging cherished memories and deepening their bond with each adventure. Their journeys epitomized their shared love for discovery and companionship, leaving a legacy of exploration and joy.
Constance found happiness anew in the twilight of her years with her beloved husband, Roger Faulmann. Their union was testament to the enduring power of love and companionship.
Constance embraced life with a zestful spirit, finding joy in the simple pleasures of being called "Grandma", exploring the vast realms of knowledge on her computer, indulging in retail therapy, and embarking on adventures near and far. Among her fondest memories was the journey to Amman, Jordan, where she reveled in the company of her son and grandson.
