

David Jack Schiller, 78, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 18, 1947, in New York, New York, to Benjamin and Gertrude Schiller, David lived a life defined by his entrepreneurial spirit and boundless energy.
David was a respected business owner, spending many years in the pest control industry, where his innovative mindset and dedication built a lasting legacy. Known as a true entrepreneur, he approached every venture with passion. David cherished traveling with his family, especially on cruises, creating treasured memories with his beloved wife of 55 years, Roberta “Ro”, exploring new destinations and sharing laughter over sunset dinners on the deck. A devoted animal lover, David was known for bringing home strays, delighting Ro with new furry companions that filled their home with joy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roberta Schiller; his children, Seth Schiller, Eythan Schiller, and Stephaney Seltz (husband Brian); and his grandchildren, Cooper Seltz, Callie Seltz, Kingston Seltz, Clover Seltz, and Kingsley Seltz. He was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and Gertrude Schiller.
A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, Cape Coral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal rescue.
David’s legacy lives on in the lives - and paws- of those he touched. As he often said, “So what else is going on?”, always ready for the next adventure and story.
