

She was born in Union City Indiana on 12/15/1941 to Kenneth M. Coyne and Dorothy Jean Hanson Coyne (both deceased). She was happily married for 60 years to Barry A. Moser, currently residing in Cape Coral. She is survived by three of her four children: Kerri (Mrs Glenn Biggs) of Burton Michigan, Scott Moser (Rhonda) of Cape Coral Florida, Brent Moser (Tamara) of Westland Michigan. She was preceded in death by her son Glenn Moser of Traverse City Michigan in 2015.
She was the proud grandmother of Renae and Tyler Armstrong, Sara Moser, Jake Moser, Zachary and Eva Moser, Samantha Moser, Emily Moser, Elizabeth Moser, Brendan McCollum, Danielle Layman, Cortney Biggs, and two Great Granddaughters: Isabella Moser and Brynlie Layman. She has one brother, Robert D. Coyne in Texas, and brothers-in-law Chuck (Karen) Moser and Dick (Sandy) Moser of Indiana as well as many nieces and nephews. She also maintained close relations with several cousins over the years.
Deanna graduated from Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1959 and subsequently married Barry Moser after his graduation from Purdue University on June 5, 1961. She chose not to pursue a business career but opted to devote her time to being the best stay-at-home mother and homemaker that she could be. She successively provided her family with nurturing and loving companionship and taught her children the art of cooking and how to perform domestic responsibilities. She was an excellent cook and many of her favorite recipes are being enjoyed by her family and others on a daily basis and special occasions.
Deanna maintained the households as she followed her husband’s military and industrial career and retirement in California, New Jersey, Indiana, New York, Michigan, and Florida. She also cared for her family while he served in Viet Nam in 1966. She enjoyed oil painting especially with an art class and social group in Michigan. Most of her excellent paintings still grace the walls of her home.
She was also very fond of all animals and helped her Mom care for and show her dogs. She was especially fond of cats and had several as her close and loving companions over the years which she cared for and loved. She also maintained her interest in animals by visiting several zoos and watching animal planet and other similar programs on TV.
Deanna has been a faithful United Methodist all her years and remains a member of Oxford United Methodist Church in Oxford Michigan. She served on various committees but especially helped lead the adult and senior social activities at churches she attended. She was known as someone who always spoke her mind and let people know where she stood on many subjects and issues.
No funeral service is being planned at this time. However, a memorial service will be planned for the Spring. Her remains will be cremated and subsequently scattered at appropriate times and locations by the family. Any memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to organizations supporting dementia and Alzheimer research and care.
