Domenico Cassano

Domenico "Dominick" Cassano, age 73, passed away on September 5, 2023, in Fort Myers, FL. Born December 14, 1949 to Nicola and Emma Cassano, in Italy, Dominick immigrated to America with his family in the 1960's.

A charismatic man, Dominick possessed a personality that allowed him to make friends no matter where he went. His infectious laugh brought joy to everyone around him. Known for his honesty and integrity, Dominick was fiercely loyal to his family, his wife and his friends. He truly had a heart of gold and was capable of deep and honest love.

Dominick is survived by his loving wife, Linda Cassano, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He also leaves behind his brother, Anthony "Tony" Cassano, with whom he shared a close bond and spoke to on the phone daily. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters Rosa Cassano (Barbanente) Maria Cassano (DiBari) his brother Frank Cassano in Italy and Gene Cassano. Dominick was preceded in death by his father, Nicola, his mother, Emma, his sister, Josephine, and two brothers Vito and Angelo.

A visitation for Domenico will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5pm-7pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery in Cape Coral, FL. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery.

Dominick's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in peace.
