This is a sad day that we could not attend the service . But it is also a happy day that Donnie has gone on before us to a wonderful place in Heaven. Some day we will all be together again.

From the moment Don & my grandpa starting working together they were instant friends.  And that friendship meant we were family.  Thank you to the whole family for sharing him with the rest of us.  His laughter, hugs & smile won’t be forgotten.  May you all find peace during this time by remembering all the good times he shared with you.  Love & miss you all.

For 18 years, I've felt like a member of your family. From the beginning, what I HUMOROUSLY named the "CLAN PARTIES", to us buying each other a beer, to the Projects we took on together, and to times we just spent as friends. I WILL MISS YOU!

Hard to imagine life without Donnie.  He was always so full of life.  We always enjoyed his visits to Kentucky.  He and Rende seemed to always find a project to work on... whether it was working on the woodstove, talking out Pontiac troubles or assembling a swing set.  We love and miss him.

So many memories with the Landis family.  Donnie was just a great man.  He was so good to all around him always ready to lend a helping hand.  He helped mom and dad a lot when they lived near by and visited us in Texas often.  
One of our things was red high heels.  It started I think with me wearing red high heels and he joked that I was a Raisonette.  From then on, I was always going to get him some red high heels.  I still think he would have looked good in them.
We are so grateful for the great visit in 2019.  We had such a great time or I should say for Donnie and I an Ultra good time.  
He will be greatly missed by anyone fortunate enough to have been touched by his life.

Neighbors, fun, kind loving folks and employers. Sharing the need , the struggle and finally the reward for good water in our community, making important Yacht Club Colony decisions while serving on the board. all deserve honor. Then patiently teaching me  the  sizes and parts of the aluminum business. The memories linger forever. Don, you and Scott enjoy each other knowing Karen and Debbie are being well loved until they meet with you again.
My sad heart embraces yours Karen and those of your family.  Your loss must feel immense......and it is.
