Age 79
Passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2021. Don was born in Harlan, KY on July 7, 1942 to Ed and Margie Blevins. He is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn, his sons Mark (Jackie) Blevins, Vincent (Michele Turner) Blevins; grandchildren Nick, Kaitlyn, Meranda, Mckenzie, Cody, Stephanie, Heather, Adam, Doug, Andrea, and Amy; many great grandchildren; his step daughters Tracy and Terri; step grandchildren Cassie, McKenzie, Colton, Skylar, Bryan, River, CJ, Makayla, Mason. He was preceaded in death by his daughter Vickie.
Don was a lineman for Allison Transmission for 31 years also drove a semi for a few years before joining Allison. He was a resident of Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Cape Coral Florida. He was a great father and Husband. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Memorial Services will held at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral 33991 on Friday October 15, 2021 at 1PM.
The family is planning on having another celebration in Indianapolis, Indiana for Don on November 12th at 4:00pm at the American Legion in Brownsburg.
