Dorothy L. Hennessy, 85, of Alva passed away Thursday, July 31, 2020. Born March 28, 1935 in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Dorothy is survived by her 2 sons George (Bummer) Hennessy Jr. and Timothy (Vicky) Hennessy Sr.; daughter Kim (Kenneth) Russo; 4 grandsons Jason Russo, Joshua (Brooke) Russo, Justin Parrot and Timothy Hennessy Jr.; 2 granddaughters Barbara (Dennis) Walsh and Megan Parrot; 5 great grandchildren and one on the way. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George Hennessy, Sr. and their daughter Terri Hennessy.

Dottie worked for IBM, managed the Overlook and Hyde Parke drive in snack bars and worked in the Lee County School System in the cafeteria.

A memorial service will be held at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11am.
