Dorothy Clara Peters, 91 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Punta Gorda, FL. She was born on September 30, 1924 in Lansing, Illinois to Jacob Krass and Maria (nee: Mathison) Krass. She moved to Cape Coral in 1967. Mrs. Peters was a former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, North Fort Myers and a Life Member and Charter Member of the V.F.W. Post 8463 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Peters is survived by her loving family including her children; Wendy Jones of Tampa, FL and Brad ( Cheryl ) Peters of Punta Gorda; grandchildren, Justin Peters, Meagan Peters and Kimberly Tassinari; great grandchildren, Tara and Ethan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, son Charles Peters, and granddaughter Kris.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
