Born Oct 4, 1929 Lynbrook, NY, Evelyn was a supervisor in the aerospace industry and involved with making parts and components for the lunar landing module, missile guidance systems, and F14 Tomcat program. She sang in Sweet Adelines, did extensive volunteer work with Hope Hospice and American Lung Association, loved gardening, flowers, crocheting, reading, spending time with her family, and volunteer work.
Evelyn is survived by her dear son Darrell (Donna) Allan; 2 loving granddaughters Nikole (Curt) Grogan, Kristen Allan and partner Jonathan Powers; 2 cherished great grandchildren Savannah Powers and Xander Grogan.
She is preceded in death by husband Douglas Allan.
A gathering will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery between the hours of 1 – 2pm with memorial service to follow.
