EVELYN KUNETKA NOBLE, A LONGTIME RESIDENT OF DIMMITT, TEXAS, PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY, SURROUNDED BY HER FAMILY, ON MARCH 26, 2012 IN CAPE CORAL, FLORIDA WHERE SHE HAD BEEN LIVING WITH HER DAUGHTER. EVELYN WAS BORN ON JANUARY 16, 1928 IN EL CAMPO, TEXAS AND WAS 84 YEARS OLD.
EVELYN WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, E.B. NOBLE ON MAY 3, 1986 AND THEIR SON, RICK E. NOBLE ON APRIL 13, 2009.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER SON, DAVE B. NOBLE - WIFE CELIA OF SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS AND HER DAUGHTER, JAN NOBLE SPIRES - HUSBAND JIM OF CAPE CORAL, FLORIDA. TEN GRANDCHILDREN, ALLISON GILBERT, CALEB ROBISON, ZACHARY ROBISON - WIFE HEATHER, SETH ROBISON, ALANA NOBLE-KIRK - HUSBAND NICOLAS, CHRISTOPHER SPIRES, AMANDA NOBLE, ERICH SPIRES AND JACOB SPIRES. SIX GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, RIDGE ROBISON, PARIS GILBERT, KELLER GILBERT, MACY ROBISON, HOLDEN NOBLE AND CAMY ROBISON. ONE BROTHER, LEROY KUNETKA OF HARLINGEN, TEXAS. HER AUNT ELOISE OF EL CAMPO, TEXAS AND SEVERAL COUSINS, NIECES AND NEPHEWS.
EVELYN MARRIED E.B. NOBLE, A LIFELONG RESIDENT OF DIMMITT, IN 1949 IN EL CAMPO, TEXAS. E.B. BROUGHT EVELYN BACK TO HIS HOMETOWN OF DIMMITT IN 1950 AND SHE MADE DIMMITT HER HOME FOR THE NEXT 62 YEARS. SHE WORKED FOR THE LAW FIRM OF MORAN AND MILLER AS THE LEGAL SECRETARY FOR MANY YEARS. SHE LATER OWNED AND OPERATED THE SEARS STORE, H&R BLOCK. EVELYN OWNED AND OPERATED THE CASTRO COUNTY RETAIL MERCHANTS UP UNTIL NOVEMBER, 2011. SHE VOLUNTEERED HER TIME TO HELP THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND ENJOYED HER DAILY GET-TOGETHERS WITH "THE COFFEE GIRLS". SHE WAS LOVED BY ALL AND WILL BE DEARLY MISSED.
