Evelyn S. Spreda

Evelyn S. Spreda (Red), 82, of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully at home Saturday, July 27, 2013. Born in Waterbury, CT on April 12, 1931, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Fohl) Behrman. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry P. Spreda. She arrived to live in FL on July 27, 1993. She was a member of the Red Hats Society. Evelyn is survived by her 3 loving sons, Alan Shaker and his wife Mary of Cape Coral, where she lived, Robert Spreda and his wife Judi of Southington, CT, Philip Spreda and his girl friend Cheryl, of Cromwell, CT; 5 cherished grandchildren, Beth (and Bruce) Kranz, David Shaker, Michelle Spreda, Kimberly Candelaria, and Charles Spreda; 2 great grandchildren, Morgan and Thomas Shaker; sister-in-law Mary S. Dalton and Marion Spreda; a niece, several nephews, and loved ones. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 12th at 3pm at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Cape Coral. Burial will be held in Southington, CT at the convenience of the family. The family would like to extend their thanks to the caregivers, the day cares she attended, her physicians, Fire Station #9, and to Officer Keith Nabozny.
