Mr Oney,  
I am so sorry to hear of your passing. I will miss you coming out to the driveway during the day while I was delivering your mail. You were one of the sweetest people on my route and I will miss you very much! I enjoyed talking to you for a bit on days you were in your garage ! Heaven must have needed another angel , so he chose you. It was a pleasure to serve you . 

Fair winds and following seas shipmate.  It's always a pleasure swapping sea stories,but none more pleasurable than when we got time to share. You will be missed my friend. 

 This world has many ways of separating us, but; memories are ours forever. 
 In the 1940s, Floyd and his family were as my close as my own. I was named after his Dad, who was my uncle. 
  Floyd, his older brother Gene, and I were all proud members of  the U.S.NAVY,  which we sometimes jokingly refer to as "Uncle Sam's Canoe Club"! 
   Some few years back, our brother Gene set sail alone, and now you. No doubt I will soon follow.

My heart was broken at the news of hearing you we’re gone! I could remember every week you and Claudette coming in to eat and being the sweetest man alive! Oh how I loved when you came in to see me... you always made my day! I hope you fly high with the angels Floyd because you sure were one here on earth! You will be truly missed 💔

I always looked forward to our breakfast talks at Bob Evens. Talking to you always made me smile. You were so kind hearted and funny, everyone that got the chance to know you is better for it. Heaven is lucky to have you!! 

I have over 20 years worth of memories with pop. He was always there praying for me or with me, like the time I decided to sell everything and go cross-country in a semi truck.   And when I came back, and had my daughter, he dedicated her to the Lord.   I promised him that day that I would raise her as a Christian who loves the Lord, and I will keep that promise.  He never missed a "hello" or a "see ya later baby" without a hug and a kiss. I love you, Pop.  I'll see you later. xoxo❤

Grandpa,

I remember coming down to visit while we were in Florida for my cheer competitions, you would always make sure we had time to get together and do something as a family. It did not matter if we were swimming in your pool or out on the beach at Sanibel island, you always make sure those were happy memories. You will be missed. Love you always!

He was and always will be the best father in the world. We lived 1400 miles apart but he was my daddy. I love you Daddy. Love you always your first born.

Uncle floyd, 
 You are already missed by so many, I can remember the time as if it was yesterday , I was on the church bus,  and I remember lol singing them songs as you walked up and down the aisle  , and me and jackelene would just hug on you , I always talked about you uncle floyd, you sure did live ur life to the fullest, ur a true child of our father, I love you , rest in peace ,until we all meet again-FROM  BEVARD FAMILY! 

Uncle Floyd,  you sure will be missed by so many.  I did not get to see you often, usually I would get a call about doing some screen work for you from time to time.  I would enjoy those times though, we would reminisce about old times, and some of the stories you would tell me. The last story I remember us talking about was when you got uncle Alfords truck, you asked if I remembered it when I pulled up?  I asked how I could ever forget it?, I loved that old truck, It was part of my memories going to his house and seeing it all the time, He sure did love that truck, and I was so happy to see you was the one that ended up with it after his passing. But you was there for me in much more needed ways that I don’t even know that you knew what it meant to me at the time. I remember first moving to Florida and I was probably 12 or 13?  ,  I was lost not knowing anyone,  no one my age to hang out with,  moving from a big ole city to the middle of the sticks, thought it was the end of the world, I hated it, but you changed that with our Saturday or Sunday morning bass fishing trips , up and down the canals,  and with time I got to meet some new friends and wouldn’t have changed that move for the world now.  but I know you didn’t know what those times meant to me.  You were a good man and will never be forgotten, until we meet again, you will always be loved and missed. Rest In Peace Uncle Floyd, fly high my friend.
