

Frank Thomas Desiderio, 88, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015. He was born on June 25, 1926 in Newark, New Jersey to Thomas and Assunta Desiderio. Frank was a Veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. While in the Navy he was selected and honored to be a model of the Naval Uniform. He was a Stock Broker at the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street. Frank was an avid Florida State University fan. He moved to the local area in 1973.
He is survived by his loving family including his five daughters, Mary Miller of Cape Coral, Frances McKissick of Irving, TX, Lisa Stingley of Fort Worth, TX, Carol Orr of Chattanooga, TN; Elaine Levidon of Fort Myers, FL; son, Thomas Desiderio, serving in the U.S.M.C. in Japan; eight grandchildren. Frank’s wife, Alyce Villani Desiderio passed away on April 11, 2015.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road, Cape Coral. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm on Thursday, April 16th at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Ave., Cape Coral. Burial with Naval Military Honors will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral.
