On the Morning of June 9th 2016 at 5:20am our beloved mother Georgina Lillian Zenobi passed from this world into eternity with our Lord. She was a nurse for 32 years which was her lifelong dream. She was originally from New Jersey but relocated to Cape Coral, Florida. She was a member of First Assembly of God and participated in the women's ministry for widows. She also served in and loved the deaf ministry and was certified in American Sign Language. She was the rock that held our family together and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Georgina is survived by her son Christopher Fakler and wife Tammy Fakler; granddaughters Christina, Rachel and Joy; her daughter Kimberly Scarcelli and husband Louis Scarcelli and grandsons David, Domenico and Vincenzo; her daughter Claudia Zenobi; son Kevin Zenobi and wife Tammy; and son Joesph Zenobi and wife Tammy. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Zenobi.
She accepted Jesus as her Savior at the age of 12 and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Atlantic City, NJ. She was a dedicated Christian woman and raised her children to follow in her footsteps. Georgina's desire along with her family, is that all come to the knowledge of the love of Jesus. When this day comes for us all, we can say today is the day of salvation; don't wait because tomorrow may be too late.
A visitation will be held between the hours of 9 - 11am June 15th at The First Assembly of God, 4701 Summerlin Rd. Fort Myers, FL 33907. Service to follow at 11am with burial alongside her beloved husband Joseph in Sarasota National Cemetery at 2:30pm. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at First Assembly of God.
