Glen L. Krieg

Glen L. Krieg, 89, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on November 8, 2014. He was born on May 18, 1925 in Ferndale, Michigan to Valentine and Clara Handke Krieg. Mr. Krieg was a Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy as a Radarman. He has resided in Cape Coral for 33 years coming from Michigan. Mr. Krieg was a member of; Araba Shriners, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley, Royal Order of Jesters, Past Commodore of Araba Mariners, VFW-Life Member, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, Cape Cruisers.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife, Alice Krieg; children, Dennis (Donna) Krieg, Mike (Kim) Krieg, Cindy Krieg, Larry (Tracy) Krieg; grandchildren, Steven, Ellie, William, Dustin, Samantha, Jocelyn, Callan, Lindsay, Jacob, Jared, Ajay, Joseph; and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Florence Krieg in 2009.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Funeral Services will be 11am on Thursday at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
