Gloria Jean Boulanger

May 4, 1950February 4, 2020

Gloria Jean Boulanger, 69, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday, February 4, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Blanche and Wilfred Perreault. She lived most of her life in Manchester, NH. She retired from Osram Sylvania in 2006 after 30 years of service. Gloria loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed playing bingo, floating in her pool, and driving through her neighborhood to see the owls. She was a selfless woman who devoted her life to caring for her family. Gloria is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Bob, and her children Robert and wife Christina Boulanger, of Cape Coral, FL, and her daughter, Karen Wallington and husband Ian, of Manchester, NH. She took great pride in her grandchildren, Nickolas and Andrew Boulanger, Ethan and Emma Wallington, and Ashley and Tyrell Boulanger, along with her great grandchildren, Jennifer and Rylee Boulanger, and soon to be Aria. She also leaves behind her sister, Elly Laliberte, her husband Marc, and children Emilie and Nathan Laliberte, who Gloria considered her grandchildren. Gloria was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer, in 2012. A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held at a later date. Because of her love of owls, memorial donations may be directed to Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife, 3900 Drane Field, Road, Lakeland, FL, 33811.

No words can describe the pain of going through life without you. I wish I’d had the chance to say goodbye – one last hug. You possessed so much beauty, love and patience. You touched my heart in so many ways. I was lucky to have wonderful parents who’s strength, love and support shaped me into the person I am today. I will forever miss our daily calls and our special conversations. You were not only my mother but my best friend. You will forever inspire me. I love you more…..

Gloria and I meet at bingo. We shared a lot and I knew she was going through a lot of physical challenges. We played bingo last Friday. I went to bingo tonight and found out she had passed. I was heartbroken. I thought she was the sweetest person. My deepest sympathy goes out to your family. I know she loved her family so much.
