

He attended Valley Station High School located in Louisville, KY. He also attended several colleges including Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX. and International College in FT. Myers, FL. He received several degrees for health and technology.
He was in the US. Army for over 9 years; where he was a Huey pilot and part of the 1st Calvary where he earned several medals. After his military career he served as a transit driver for most of his career.
He was very proud to be a part of the American Legion and the Masons. He really enjoyed collecting Hess trucks, coins, hats, and coffee cups. He always looked forward to telling anyone who would listen to him a joke.
He was proceeded by his father Paul M. Cook Sr., his mother Ruby G. Cook, and sister Lavina Cook. He was survived by his wife Carol A. Cook, who he was married to for over 52 Years. He has one daughter Nicole Killman (married to Lucas Killman), and one God-daughter Bridget C. Terry. He has two grandchildren Zackary and Jessica. He was also survived by his four brothers: Marvin, Paul, Charles and Travis
Services to remember him will be held January 12th from 11am-2pm at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991. There will be a luncheon that follows at 3pm located at 2124 NE 15th ter. Cape Coral, FL 33909.
